Update and clarification of criteria document
The BASTA criteria document has been updated to version V34.2.
The update of the criteria document has not involved any tightening or addition of the mandatory criteria, only clarifications. Read what this means below.
Clarifications have been made on the assessment of two-component products and on how to assess chemical products where the classification differs between constituent substances and products.
Further clarifications have been made in criteria concerning:
- Health and environmental hazards: V34.H2.B (endocrine disruptor), V34.H3.D (PFAS), V34.H3.E (PMT) and V34.H7.C and V34.H7.D (both skin sensitizers)
- Organizational criteria V34.O2 on assessment and assessment basis
- Voluntary criteria V34.E (emissions)
