Here are some simple steps to get started with your logbook account, invite members and work with logbooks.
1. User account
Create account
In order to log in to BASTAonline and use our Logbook service, you need to create a user account.
2. Workspace
Create a workspace or be invited to an existing one
Once you have created a user and logged into BASTAonline, you can:
Create a workspace for your organization
Be invited to an existing workspace
3. Logbook
Create a project
When you have created a workspace or been invited to an existing one, you can create projects (logbooks).
4. Members
Invite project members
You can invite other users to the workspace and to specific logbooks.
5. Articles
Add articles (products) to the logbook
A logbook is used to document which products were used in the construction project, the products are categorized and structured and deviations from requirements can be documented. To select products, you can search the BASTA system's database with over 180,000 articles. If the products you want to use are not there, there is also an add-on module that offers access to FINFO's article database with over 1.7 million articles.
5. Analyse
Follow up deviations and analyse
When all products are entered in the logbook, any deviations that have been reported can be followed up and the distribution between different grades can be analysed and more.
